Literacy Week: Celebrating the Joy of Reading this October

October 7th, 2026

Tema Ridge School proudly celebrated Literacy Week this October, promoting a love for reading and writing among our students. Throughout the week, our students explored the wonderful world of books under our Reading Shade, where they had the opportunity to discover new books and engage in meaningful reading experiences. These activities encouraged learners to develop their reading fluency, comprehension, and appreciation for literature.

Students enthusiastically participate in Literacy Week, showcasing their love for reading and learning.

Literacy Week is more than just a celebration of books—it is a reminder of the power of reading and communication in shaping confident, knowledgeable, and responsible individuals. It also reflects the school's commitment to nurturing curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our teachers, parents, and students who continue to make Literacy Month a success. Together, we are fostering a culture where reading is valued, imagination is encouraged, and every child is empowered to reach their full potential.
